"Sands of Europe" (Sabbie d'Europa) is the subtitle of the twelfth edition of Fabbrica Europa, the prestigious festival organized in Florence by Fondazione Fabbrica Europa for Contemporary Arts, a permanent forum for contemporary languages, a meeting place of the most diverse cultural identities and traditions. The theme of this edition revolves around deserts and oasis. In the extraordinary space of the ancient railway station there are going to be presented more than 80 performances, ranging from theatre to dance, from music to visual arts and new technologies. On stage some of the most important protagonists of the international performing scene.
